MS Access is a database program that is used to collect and organize large amounts of data into columns and rows,
much like MS Excel. Each database generally is comprised of Tables, Queries, Forms, and Reports. The user can set up
simple to very complex tables and manipulate the data to extract various combinations of information. The typical user
will create an initial table of data and subsequently run queries based off that data table.

Once the data is extracted the user can run reports and print, email, or view the information in forms. Access might be
used in a college or university to organize instructors' names, classes, salaries, tenure information etc. Access is one of the
more difficult MS programs so take your time to work through many of its valuable and sophisticated features.
